TLG Aerospace Presenting at AWS Manufacturing and Industrial IoT Web Day
TLG Aerospace is excited to present at Amazon Web Service’s Manufacturing and Industrial IoT Web Day on July 22nd. The subject of our presentation will be regarding how TLG Aerospace has leveraged automated design exploration and optimization as well as scaling-up industrial CFD simulations with Simcenter STAR-CCM+ in the AWS cloud.
The presentation will include Siemens discussing the software STAR-CCM+ and TLG’s Senior Aerodynamics Engineer, Peter Burns, discussing how we leverage both STAR-CCM+ and AWS to help with computing large databases.
We will also explore how CFD is maturing to the point where is can be used to complement wind tunnel testing and how this can be practically applied. For example, increased throughput in CFD allows TLG to approach wind tunnel testing with advance knowledge learned from simulations while also providing a more detailed level of diagnostic flow information.
